SYLO is the mental-wellness brand operated by Seelenfreund GmbH, a company headquartered in Berlin, Germany. We publish articles, guided reflections, and meditations for readers who want to understand their own minds more clearly, stress, sleep, relationships, self-reflection, and everything adjacent. Our mission is simple: help people engage with mental-wellness topics through content that is accurate, sourced, and honest about what it is and is not.
What we publish
SYLO articles are built around peer-reviewed research. Every claim in a SYLO article is anchored to a named study, and the reader can open the source from an inline link. We do not publish medical advice, we do not diagnose, and we do not prescribe. Readers with clinical questions should consult a qualified healthcare professional about their own situation.
We are transparent about how the content is produced. Articles are AI-drafted and human-reviewed: research is collected and synthesised with the help of large language models, and every draft passes through named humans on our editorial team before it goes live. This is deliberate: honest disclosure of AI assistance is a higher bar than quietly shipping hand-written-looking articles that were in fact generated, and it gives readers the full picture of who is accountable for what they read.

SYLO articles are signed by one of three editors. None of them hold a medical license, and that is made explicit on every byline. Medical authority on SYLO articles derives from the peer-reviewed cited sources, not from individual authors.
