About SYLO
Three operators. One product. No esoterica.
We came from finance, engineering, and high-performance teams. Not from wellness. We built SYLO because the existing meditation apps did not meet anyone where they actually were.
We did not start in wellness. We started because the three of us kept hitting the same wall. The existing meditation apps are libraries of generic tracks. None of them met you where you actually were before a real meeting.
So we built one that does. SYLO listens, sorts through what is going on with you in your own words, and generates a meditation specifically for tonight. In under ten minutes. Built in Berlin, hosted in Frankfurt, end-to-end encrypted. Just for you.
We want to make meditation as normal as brushing your teeth. Being able to take time to rest is true high performance.

Dr. rer. nat. with extensive experience at the intersection of psychology, technology, and organisational change. Supports the team in developing trustworthy, user-centred AI experiences, combining psychological expertise with scientific rigor, strategic thinking, and deep experience in complex transformation processes.
PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge, specialising in AI model training. Supports SYLO's scientific approach and ensures the AI personalisation is built on solid neuroscientific foundations.
Strategic Advisors
Qualified lawyer specialising in restructuring with several years of professional experience at international commercial law firms. Advises SYLO on entrepreneurial and strategic matters relating to growth and corporate structure.
Creative Director, copywriter, and content creator with experience leading creative work for major German agencies and brands. Former Interim Creative Director at Gorillas (post-Getir acquisition) and Creative Director at DDB Germany. Advises SYLO on brand voice, creative direction, and B2B communication.
Design
Senior Designer with over eight years of independent practice and four years in-house at LIQID. Focused on brand identity, UX, and motion. Leads visual design across SYLO surfaces, from product to marketing to brand system.
Data Protection
Qualified lawyer at Gerlich Bönig in Düsseldorf, specialising in data protection and IT law. Serves as SYLO's external Data Protection Officer and ensures GDPR and BDSG compliance across product, data, and AI integrations.
What SYLO is not.
We are not therapy.
SYLO is a wellness tool, not a medical device, and never claims to replace clinical care. If you are in crisis, we route you to professional support resources before any session starts.
We are not a guru.
We do not have a brand voice that says "feel into your truth." We cite peer-reviewed studies, not feelings.
We are not a 5,000-track library.
